“I deserve this!”
I’ve heard it so many times, and honestly? I agree. You worked hard. You pushed through challenges. You should enjoy the rewards.
But here’s the thing–future you also deserves what’s coming because of your choices today.
That extra splurge, that skipped workout, that delay on your goals—it all adds up. Just like discipline, progress, and smart decisions do.
So, the next time you say “I deserve this!” remember that future you deserves the best, too. Make sure they’ll thank you for it.
