So I was going through my daily round on my News Feed. Enjoying my friend’s successes and laughing at their rants, when I saw a peculiar post: someone ranting about being unfriended on Facebook.
- How to Get over Being Unfriended on Facebook
- How to Deal with Someone Unfriending You
- modern ms manners: dealing with being “unfriended”
With so many articles and tons of advice, I don’t plan on adding any more elaborate advice on it. I will stick with my original reaction when I read that rant… Who cares?
I mean seriously… if that is an issue, you need to go out into the world and find more meaningful things to care about.
Others will try to be nice and say things like it’s the unfriender’s loss, but come on. The fact that you had to share that means you were affected, which means you cared and so it is (also) your loss.
Hmm.. I will stop here before this starts to look like a rant.
I hope I got my point across. That there are far more important things to focus our attention on including the remaining Facebook friends. Heck, why not use the time to meet some of them (in person) and make a real connection this time.
