Ciao, 2013! Hello, 2014!

2013 left me (and I’m sure others as well) with a mix of emotions.

On one hand, it was personally a good one for me as it was the start of many adventures. A promotion at work, getting started with my life coaching journey, improved sales of our relocated Kowloon branch (still far from ROI but definitely a big leap from where we were six months ago) and getting started in startups… I have not been able to build a startup yet but this year definitely pushed me to explore that area. Aside from that, my siblings and I has never been closer, and my wife has continued to be the supportive wife that she has always been.

On the other hand, it was a tough year for the country as we went through some tough times. There were the political controversies highlighted by the Pork Barrel Scam, there was the military trouble down in Zamboanga and of course, the crazy natural disasters that toppled Bohol, Tacloban and other cities in the Visayas.

However it may have been for you, I am hoping that the coming year will be a better one for all of us.

Come on, 2014! Let’s make this the best year yet!
