John Maxwell

A Timely Minute with Maxwell

Now that FIBA Asia 2013 is done… It’s back to regular programming for me. One of the recent episodes of Minute with Maxwell just reminded me of a news that I stopped following because of the tournament, the recent uproar on the inter web about the misuse of our senator’s pork barrels.

See related blog entry: Janet Napoles’ Pork Barrel Scam: Theft from a Nation?

I have no plans of writing about the topic anymore since more than enough has been said in the article above (especially the comments section). My only hope is that our politicians will actually listen to (and apply) what John has to say in this Minute with Maxwell episode:

  • so many times when you think of politics, you don’t think of leadership…
  • in the political field, never has there been a time more right than right now for somebody to put people first!
  • that’s what we need… not more politicians, more LEADERS.
