Last Saturday, Globe Labs had a session on apps development using Facebook APIs. Not only was the topic interesting, Globe was able to invite Mr. James Pearce, Head of Developer Advocacy for Facebook, to conduct the session. Check out: https://www.facebook.com/FacebookDevelopers
Although I was not able to register (since all the slots were quickly taken), I was lucky enough to be invited by my good friend, Rey Mendoza of AUGPhil, who needed volunteers for the event, volunteer photographers to be specific. I was hesitant at first but since I knew he would be there, I grabbed the opportunity.
Unfortunately, the bad weather kept him from attending the session so I was left all alone to “cover” the event. I just hope I did justice to the wonderful event that was organized by Michelle Santos of Globe Labs. Here goes nothing…
