Foodie Friday: PastaRoni

I have heard good things about PastaRoni from my friends in DKS, so we decided to give it a shot last week.

The location is not great since one has to go through the second floor parking lot to get to the restaurant. It would have been OK but the bunch of exhausts in the area made it really stuffy and hot.

A Okay

Once inside though, the ambiance is totally different. It was really cozy (although it got a bit crowded as more groups trickled in) and a good place for discussions. In fact, we used this time to brainstorm on some project. We had additional time to brainstorm too since the food took a long time to be ready. Well, they did warn us that they are on a soft opening.

Here’s what we ordered:

Porkloin Italian

Pork Loin Italian (Php 220.00)

Sausage Arrabiata

Sausage Arrabiata (Php 199.00)

Vegetable Lasagna

Vegetable Lasagna (Php 240.00)

Cous Cous

Cous Cous (Php 65.00)

Chicken Pastel

Chicken Pastel (Php 195.00)

Osso Buco w/ Risotto

Osso Buco w/ Risotto (Php 250.00 + 65.00)

Verdict:
I really enjoyed my food (Chicken Pastel) here although I would probably skip the Cous Cous next time. It’s not bad but just not something I am used to. The Osso Buco was also really good (of course, I would still prefer the one from K by Cunanan). My colleagues were also happy with their food. I’m sure we will be visiting again soon.
