Hyundai Run For A Cause

Hyundai Run For A Cause

Two weeks ago, I participated in Hyundai’s Run For A Cause at Quirino Grandstand.

This was the second time I had joined a run and the first that will be held in the morning for me, the first was Kenny Roger’s Urbanite. The memorable thing about this was that I ran it with the wifey. In fact, she was the one who encouraged forced me to join it.

I went way below my last time, or as the runner’s call it PR (personal record), but I was not really bothered. I actually expected it because I hardly trained for this run. Unlike my first run when I was still enrolled with Fitness First and was on the treadmill weeks before the race, I only ran twice before this one. I am just glad that I was still able to keep up with the wifey, who really surprised me with her stamina.

Anyway, I am really happy that we found another activity that we both enjoy and can do together, and I hope this is the first of many more runs for us.

How about you? What activities do you enjoy with your special someone / partner?
